Unbelievably bad fashion trigger warning.

Nothing feminine about that fantasy, is there? I have never in my life fantasised about having five o'clock shadow whilst being draped in tinfoil...

Myalternate · 23/11/2022 00:52

The only time in my life that I was almost draped in tinfoil was when I was trying to cover a very large turkey before shoving it into the oven. Can’t say I felt feminine just irritated.

“Nina likes to stim (self-stimulate) by wearing tight and latex-like clothing,”

...a clinician might think that this reflects sensory-processing challenges, seeking proprioceptive sensory inputs which are calming.
Just an interesting thought when reading the piece.

In principal wear what you want.
But also what did I just look at?
Is this what women are to that person?

Gender needs to be just what it is - a fairytale, a stereotype, an idea.

That's all "gender" is now. Just call it what it is. An idea.

It's nothing to do with biological sex. It's got nothing to do with our biological bodies beyond an external view and imaginations from a male point of view.

Just constant dress up.

Ah the other type of misogyny.

The combination of black face with feminity is OK because reasons.

Happylittlechicken · 23/11/2022 06:42

So a man likes to wear household items as fashion. Suppose each to his own. Not sure in which sense it’s ‘feminine’ though, as PP have said, not many women go out draped in foil or bin bags on a daily basis. I think it’s more a case of him expanding male fashion choices. Might see if DP fancies an Aldi bag ensemble….

Rightsraptor · 23/11/2022 06:44

Well, it's 'Art' innit?

Bloke in a tin foil dress, bloke in a loo paper dress, bloke in a cling film dress, bloke in a bin liner dress ...

It reminds me of how a group of us would entertain ourselves during school lunch time by having 'fashion shows' which involved wearing our uniform, gym towels, whatever came to hand in creative ways.

But we were eleven years old.

Gosh men are so pompous aren't they?

Xiaoxiong · 23/11/2022 07:01

“I always felt more like a girl,” she says. “I tried to do all the boy things, but it never felt right."

These kinds of accounts never stray far from sexist and homophobic stereotypes do they.

Runover · 23/11/2022 07:07

Narcissist wants people to look at him wearing dodgy outfits.

No they don’t. Because without sexist and homophobic stereotypes there is no way anyone can insist a male is a woman. It’s why the gender ideology rules so much on “feelings”.

And yet they are very clearly male so I suspect they enjoy all the trappings of male privilege.

Incidentally cam I say how much I loathe adult men talking about being girls? It's so fucking creepy

Shelefttheweb · 23/11/2022 07:33

“Gender euphoria” is that not a sexual turn on?

RocketPanda · 23/11/2022 08:18

Why does Nina triple 6 ring a bell. It'll come to me but I'm pretty sure it wasn't for fine upstanding reasons.
