Was checking out hair salons, and came across one that did a particular treatment I was looking for, but they seemed to be heavily into gender issues, with the blog on their front page all about gender:
"All our clients are celebrated for just being themselves. I would hope that sooner rather than later more salons will choose to be open for everyone and the divide will be no longer, no stereotypes, no discrimination. When you visit the dentist they look at your teeth, you are not seen on the basis of being male or female. This is how hair salons need to be, when a client walks in they are treated with a person centred approach."
and
"We talk with our clients about how they would like their hair to be and create it for them, this is not based on them being men or women, it is based on them being a human. You do not need to identify as any gender to be welcomed here."
OK, not a problem, glad that anyone would feel comfortable there and that they can be respected in choosing whatever hairstyle fits with their presentation.
Then you look at the price list:

Cut and Blow Dry £52 £46 £40
Restyle Cut and Blow Dry £58 £51 £44
Wet Cut £34 £33 £30

I wonder what happens if I go there and identify as a man, or maybe just a human.
