This is in the Mail about the situation in America. It seems the leak came from a whistleblower.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11099561/Leaked-internal-files-pediatricians-angry-professional-bodys-transgender-policy.html

"Pediatricians across America are at war with their own professional body over controversial puberty-blocking drugs routinely handed to teens wanting to change gender, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The top child health experts accuse the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) of pushing the 'harmful' drugs on transgender-identifying youngsters, according to damning leaked documents.

Disturbingly, the documents also reveal experts believe the APP is deliberately silencing internal criticism by blocking moves for a crucial policy review."

This is fantastic, shows not only are people fighting back but it shows the line "all medical personnel agree on treatment" is complete bogus.

It certainly shines a different light on what's happening there, which - at least from the perspective of that group that look after children - has been otherwise quite hard to access.

Some recent coverage of the external behaviour/output of the AAP:

American denial

Thanks necessary, that's an interesting piece.

And slowly bit by bit the truth comes out.

I hope there will be legal ramifications for this. Placing ideology above the health amd welfare of children.

If it was all so fine why block moves to review/study.

Surely the drs would have seen the kid akd prescribed them if that was whats best.

It seems for people so confident they are doing the right thing, there's an awful lot of making sure no one can do anything else. They clearly don't even have the confidence in the protocols themselves or it would be unecessary

Yes, if you think it's all fine, why not welcome research studies, reviews monitoring with open arms? It's really sinister that they're blocking this.
