Ppl with penises

I feel someone needs to ask the question within the context of erasing women - as appears to be commonly the case - why the reverse is also not happening. So as well as ppl with vaginas, how is it that we are not seeing/hearing the phrase ppl with penises - surely that works both ways? That way we can erase both men and women 😂🤦‍♀️

Usually I take these things with a pinch of salt, but I’ve just googled ‘testicular cancer’ and ‘ovarian cancer’. Looked at the first NHS link that came up on both searches.

For testicular cancer:
’Cancer of the testicle is 1 of the less common cancers, and tends to mostly affect men between 15 and 49 years of age.’
For ovarian cancer:
’Ovarian cancer affects the 2 small organs (ovaries) that store the eggs needed to make babies.
Anyone with ovaries can get ovarian cancer, but it mostly affects those over 50.’

The wording does not look consistent to me at all.

Haven't they missed something here? What of those trans women who still have their tackle? They can get testicular cancer and yet here it refers to 'men' - I guess it can be critiqued from all angles. But super annoying the word woman has yet again been erased 🤔

Prostate cancer uk use the word men

they will not back down

said the message has to be clear

Then I guess you could see this as trans-phobic in that trans women who still have their junk are excluded by using 'men'

If all females are called "Menstruators" or "people with a vagina", that makes males whatever they are wearing "ejaculators" or "penis-owners", it would surely be bigoted otherwise.

For most men (as far as I can see) it hasn't yet reached the 'interesting enough' threshold. Doubt it ever will. People with cocks ? - whatever....

Think you may be right as I don't think men care about excluding transmen. Wonder why?

Where do your wonderings lead you ? My advice is that you should concentrate on the word 'indifference' and work outwards.

This is a pattern over several years now. That's one of the main reasons I began researching the gender identity ideology, to see if it is sexist. And it is.

This Twitter account has a long thread of examples which show how one-sided the erasure of sex is. twitter.com/StopFemErasure

You need to scroll down on that first thread in twitter.com/StopFemErasure to find the male-female comparisons, but they are there.

If.......

Stories tell that when Philip II of Macedon invaded Greece. Having subjugated several Greek city-states already, he sent a warning to Sparta, stating, “You are advised to submit without further delay, for if I bring my army into your land, I will destroy your farms, slay your people, and raze your city.”

The Spartan response was simply “If.”

So what about the male prostate screening programme for example? Isn't it then the case they would say ppl with penises to exclude men who have vaginas .. just playing devil's advocate

You're talking about logic or fairness, heartchakra. Tsk, tsk. You know 'men with vaginas' don't count because they're, you know, vagina-people.

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 08/07/2022 20:54

Because the first rule of trans club is you don't talk about penis.

SoManyQuestionsHere · 08/07/2022 21:01

It's simply and exclusively due to misogyny!

Having said that, I am a heterosexual woman. And, frankly, I do not particularly fancy the idea of getting intimate with "prostate havers" or "ejaculators". It sounds rather ghastly! And I rather suspect a lot of heterosexual men don't exactly regard the term "menstruator" as as utterly sexy either.

🤕

the whole thing is frustrating and makes me beyond angry, standing up to ourselves means we can lose our jobs and even our safety. why are women always undermined? i don't wan't my daughter raised in a society like that. i think there needs to be a movement. after all 50% of the population are women whereas trans are just a tiny minority, the worst thing is they're not even women.
