When will this madness end?

At least the response to the tweet give some hope - twitter.com/torontopolice/status/1542496992626106368?s=21&t=By63Qub0zgft-PjSVyDaWg

Hopefully, reports like this will will make the average person see this and realise how absolutely stupid this whole fiasco is.

Some of the QTs are bordering on genius.

Mariposa80 · 30/06/2022 20:50

It's just bizarre, especially when Missing Person would have served just as well without offending anyone's gender identity

Circumferences · 30/06/2022 21:00

It's Canada. They're a lost cause sadly.

It's not going to be helpful in finding the person, either, is it?

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/06/2022 21:09

Looking at that poor person's face the MH issues are pretty clear.

Just a reminder to play the ball, not the man.

PearlClutch · 30/06/2022 21:10

They have retweeted without reference to 'woman', whch makes far more sense.

LeniGray · 30/06/2022 21:12

I once saw a very elderly woman pottering around Tesco with a full beard. I was fascinated - because everything about her was female except the beard - and then had to remind myself not to stare. I assumed she had some sort of hormonal issue, and went on my way.

I hope this person is found safe and well.

Not the woman, surely?

I see where you’re coming from with the mental health concern. My MIL developed psychosis from dementia. She was convinced that monsters were crawling out of her skin. The kindest thing we could do for her mental health was to tell her that monsters were not crawling out of her skin and focus her on the reality.
