I am sorry for the wrong turning taken by Stonewall and the loss of its mission. It served many fine purposes and had a fine history and legacy before all of this.
Its time has passed but not everybody realises that as yet so we have to be vigilant.

At the same time, we need to offer people golden bridges away from the dangerous territories in which they find themselves. They have to be able to set aside their fears and take the bridge. We need them to cross the bridge because it will take all of our collective efforts to slow the progression towards the authoritarianism that they have supported. A shift towards totalitarianism that has established itself as vade mecum and fellow traveller in all of this strategizing in the shadows and out of public scrutiny.
Even more sadly, we would lose no notable policymakers, thinkers, or writers if Stonewall were to fall. However, courtesy of Stonewall law as they would wish it to be, we were losing policymakers, thinkers, artists, writers, and many admirable people from the public sphere.
Social sanity will return when Stonewall's malign influence is extirpated from every organisation it has captured.
