And I wish Mumsnet would take the same approach. You can say or think whatever you like as soon as you crystallize it into actions then you have an issue. Currently far too much comes under hate speech on here.
I'm not sure this section of Mumsnet will be quite so enthusiastic as he singled out transphobia and misogyny. And I'm sure on here misogyny will be demanded to be actioned whilst still at the thought/word stage before manifesting itself into actions.
But as a free speech absolutist I believe anyone should be able to say what they like (and be as offensive as they want) but the moment it turns into actions that break the law it needs enforcement. This seems to be heading in the right direction.
