Hadn't seen this posted elsewhere - Malcolm Clark on the homophobic origins of the trans movement. Very shocking:

Interesting to see the homophobic roots of an ideology laid out like this. In one sense it's not surprising historically. However, in the light of the continual attempts to transwash so much of history, it a reminder that the current unashamed homophobia and misogyny have actually been embedded from the start

Just came to see if there was a thread about this. Some really interesting information to use to support arguments about the transwashing of LGB history.

Malcolm Clark should compile a book from his many very informative threads on Twitter. Slightly disappointed Storme DeLaverie wasn't mentioned when referencing the Stonewall riots.

Just below it there is a tweet from Baroness Nicholson with a piece written by a former Prison Governor, it's heartbreaking reading. Link for anyone who didn't see it.

Thanks for this, very informative. I didn’t know a lot of this and I thought that I’d read just about everything on this topic by now!

Even if it wasn't Storme DeLarverie, all accounts agree that it was a Butch Dyke who ignited the riots whilst being beaten, handcuffed, arrested and shoved into the back of the police van. She shouted "Why don't you guys do something" and apparently this shamed/sparked the crowd to fight back, initially younger homeless kids and then the rest of those present.

Sylvia Rivera, one of the drag queens (Rivera herself never claimed to be a transwoman, describing himself as a drag queen or transvestite) always credited by the TRAs with starting the fightback, later admitted he wasn't even there until the second night of rioting.

As has been shrewdly pointed out by a poster on another thread: the more this emerges the more it becomes apparent that the most concerning aspects of this political movement are not bugs. They are intentional features and infrastructure.
