Does anyone have any knowledge about how this is working in practice? It's come onto my radar today and I have concerns about organisations that are closely associated with Stonewall using SW policies towards their scoring.
For background, since January social value has made up a minimum 10% score in NHS tenders. Equal opportunity is one of the key components of this scoring along with c19 recovery, climate change, economic inequality and well being.
Equal opportunity outcomes are to reduce the disability employment gap (no argument with that) and to tackle workforce inequality. Which is fine if you are trying to reduce the right sort of workplace inequality, but let's face it, isn't deprioritising women's rights in the name of inclusivity a potential outcome here?
And is this widely known about or is it another thing that has quietly slipped under the radar?
