What we can and can’t discuss

I wonder if it’s permissible to discuss the broader issue of why TW can’t have their own inspiring lists to highlight their achievements rather than being included in lists of women

As a biological woman I want to see the achievements of women highlighted. Surely TW would want to see the achievements of TW highlighted?

I think this is one of the reasons I struggle with the whole “women & TW are allies” because as far as I can see, TW are taking from women and we get no benefit from their taking. I never see TW saying “we must celebrate biological women in their own right” but we are expected to cheerlead along as our spaces are taken and the words we use to describe ourselves & our bodies removed

I couldn't agree with you more, there's a saying with friends like that...

In reference to women and not-women, It seems we cannot comment, question, state facts or opinion.
We can be monitored, reported, chastised, deleted and banned.
MN is truly reflecting reality…..

I find 97 women from that list to be truly inspirational.

I believe there was one poster who were emailing MN and was really cross, maybe trying to get the thread taken down. I think that would be a shame.

It look led to me like op was given support that she desperately needed. I made a comment about anorexia which I not am sure was read by the poster I directed it too.

It is very sad indeed if some people are so unhappy with something (I have no idea what) that they are trying to take down the support for other women.

I will start a new thread focussing on the women killed for being women.

What is very interesting is that I have posted things like the below a number of times and never been deleted. Because doing so would be right up there with denying 2+2 =4

In pure logic terms, if A = B and B = C, then A = C.

Hence the following holds true:

1. Transwoman = adult human male.
2. Adult human male = man
3. Therefore transwoman = man.

I've been getting that "oops" message when moving between pages or posting comments (which did post correctly, even though the "oops" message appeared instead of the page) off and on all day.

However, it's been across a range of forums and topics.
