Green Party - again

I joined the GP in order to vote in their internal elections and try to change their direction in matters related to gender ideology.

This evening I got an email from Green Party Women calling for candidates and registering to vote and guess what it says?

"If you a (sic) member of the Green Party of England and Wales, and also identify as a woman or gender variant, you are eligible to vote in our upcoming 2021 Green Party Women internal committee elections. To register to vote, please sign up here confirming that you identify as a woman or gender variant and are therefore an eligible voter!" (why the redundant ! at the end?)

Next:
"Please note:
We recognise some women feel they are women rather than identify as women. This is how the wording is set out in the constitution, and we are obliged to follow it. We intend no offence by it."

I do not feel I am a woman, I do not identify as a woman, I AM A WOMAN. It is a state, not a feeling. I should not have opened that email before bedtime. I am not offended, I am raging.

I can't vote anyway because I will not tick any box saying I identify as a woman (or 'gender variant' FFS).

Tomorrow they get my resignation from their poxy party. Fuck them.

I mean IME. Not wanting to sidetrack into this behaviour 8yo girl/boy! Certainly both can be hilarious when out of things to say and fall back on tried and tested ' anyway you smell' type stuff 😂😂😂

Sorry really of topic.

Just realised men do it a lot too when don't get own way with women.

Replace stinky with eg

Lesbian
Ugly
Bitch
Frigid
Etc

Same same. Never realised that before!

You've got to ask

Why do they want to be in women's spaces?

Why do they campaign so hard?

Why do they tantrum when we say no?

Why do they name call and are unable to engage when we raise safeguarding concerns?

🤔

Lots of nefarious reasons we could probably come up with Warrior but in the case of the Green Party, lots of young people wanting to be in with their peers who saw the Party conference as an easy place to take over. Probably felt a bit drunk with their own power as from the reports I saw, they were able to win the day over many older members and feminist women. If I have this wrong, I`m sure someone who was there can come along and explain it better. My past memories of the Green Party show how easy it is to mount a takeover bid as the rules seemed pretty fuzzy.

"rules seemed pretty fuzzy."

Well, 'anyone who self identifies as a woman can vote in the elections for Green Party women' was definitely bloody fuzzy.
