On at 1.09. BBC are really doing their job at the moment. This is a sustained civilised interview on freedom of speech and Kathleen Stock. Sophie is one of the professors who signed the supportive letter.

Worth a listen.

That was good, she didn't hurry it along or use the word marginalised once. I like Naga.

NothingTraLaLa · 20/10/2021 13:58

Thanks, that was great.

Prof Sophie Scott (OBE) is fabulous.

As I commented on another thread I found this clear, calm, honest and articulate discussion uplifting! Thank you Sophie Scott and Naga!

Will listen later

Yes Naga was great too!!!! Love hearing women’s voices SING with such intelligence.

ACambsWoman · 20/10/2021 23:12

Great interview by Sophie Scott. I thought Naga was quite careful in her questioning, though I suppose we should be grateful that the BBC are interviewing GC women.

Sophie's speech for the CamRad Fems mentioned up thread. Her other videos are worth a watch too.

I enjoyed Sophie’s low rent couldn’t GAF slide deck in that YouTube video, which still managed to be hugely informative. She’s an engaging communicator.

There's a reason she was awarded the Royal Society's Michael Faraday Prize and Lecture:
