Stonewall and my profession

I'm a vet.
I think I've always been GC but only recently realised that my opinions (reality) have a 'name'.
Just finished the Nolan podcasts and have checked my professional body (RCVS Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) to find they are proud to be part of Stonewall's diversity scheme and workplace equality index.
I am ill at ease with this, especially as vets are scientists.
I need some advice please on how to approach expressing my disquiet - via discussion of the protected characteristics I think?

  • Actually, even if they transitioned earlier in their career, they'll have different headwinds than women.

They won't be subject to the social conditioning of everyone else, who automatically see women as less authoritative and worth listening to.

They won't be seen as a 'maternity leave risk' by small employers.

Of course, they'll have their own headwinds to deal with. But these aren't the same headwinds as women and so they distort reporting (and hence efforts to address the pay gap)

How about asking on a vet-only forum anonymously about it. You could just ask how much money they’ve spent on Stonewall, and highlight some of the reasons behind other organisations Leaving Stonewall.

Once knew a vast ginger tom who (accurately) identified as a psychopath. Used to terrify local dogs.

And apparently the brainwashing is working OP. Confused
