Thanks for the link.

The fact Womens Hour had a transwoman on with her book “What It Feels Like For A Girl” but declined to have Helen on, speaks volumes about the BBC.

The BBC has capitulated entirely to and ideology when its one job is to question everything.

HeddaAga · 29/08/2021 08:23

An ideology, not and!

They’d obviously lose Stonewall brownie points if they had Helen on.
Plus how on Earth would their interviewer respond to all the science and facts in Helen’s book? They can’t!

Hmm

How surprising.

I do agree, surely if the book was so damaging they would like the airtime to argue their points to the contrary, but the reality is that there is no scientific/rational argument to be had so the position is to try and suppress it.

Idiots. This is newsworthy. By ignoring it, they damage their own credibility and give weight to the arguments that coverage of this issue is unbalanced.

So be it. I have my copy. I am pleased to be able to support Helen Joyce in that way. I sincerely hope this doesn’t negatively affect her career. Fortunately, she is already a senior journalist for the Economist which is a widely respected publication. With credentials like that, she is hard to cancel, unlike a junior writer at the beginning of their career.

She is also smart enough to know that there might be repercussions for her but she researched and wrote it anyway. Thank you, Helen!
