And ITV News had a segment on Laurel Hubbard yesterday, at which I think many people would have thought 'Wtf?' at Hubbard's size.

ES piece here: www.standard.co.uk/comment/comment/royal-academy-jess-de-wahls-trans-debate-b941715.html

The Times also reported y'day that Jess may sue if the Royal Academy doesn't apologise; several ppl in comments underneath the piece saying they would support a crowdfunder for her to do so. As will I.

The tide is turning!

It really does seem to be turning. Somehow all kinds of different people are starting to feel comfortable pointing out that the emperor is naked.

It’ll bring a load of knee jerk doubling down from the usual suspects too though, of course Confused

I hope she does sue, I would certainly contribute to that crowdfunder. The RA are making themselves look ridiculous but their capitulation to the TRA mob needs a wider audience.

The BBC reported on Laurel Hubbard yesterday. The person they interviewed was not Laurel Hubbard but a really lovely transman who played sport on a men's team (didn't state what the sport was, or what league) Guess what he said? He said that women in sports was always competitive and that everyone was surprised when Serina Williams came into tennis because of her strength. Now I remember an interview where Serena Williams said she would not play against a man because she would lose and that she couldn't beat a man who was 216th (around that number) in the world. The interviewer didn't challenge anything that was said, except to say that 'some people would say that a transwoman had all the advantages of testosterone, puberty' but didn't push the interviewee at all.
