She highlights how "Sadly, it is women – and feminists in particular – who are most often targeted by these woke warriors. From Jess de Wahls to JK Rowling to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, women who dare to defend sex-based rights repeatedly find themselves under attack."

Thanks for article .

Excellent article. It's horrifying that schools are promoting this idea that being a girl is something to be avoided. There's nothing progressive or inclusive about it. It's nothing but old school sexism.

Brilliant article.

Great article. 'war on womanhood' - it feels that way.

I remain optimistic that the tide is turning.

Two landmark court cases (plus the Forstater tribunal) have lately judged in favour of the rights of women and children. We'll just have to hope Labour don't get into power any time soon (and yes, I was a supporter, once).

Schools and universities, not to mention the NHS, are mired deep within the ideology though. I doubt it will be possible to unpick all that overnight.

I'd love to know how Stonewall et al managed to get such a secure foothold.

I know schools are teaching a lot of propaganda and misinformation about sex, which is horrific in itself. But St Paul’s seems to have gone farther than most. If I was paying £26,000 a year for the privilege, I’d want something solidly based on facts.

I would not be happy to send my child to St Paul’s I think. There are so many girls who are heavily tutored to get in. There are some incredibly clever girls who may be on the spectrum.

The former headmistress gave an interview (I cannot find it now) where she claimed that “before it was anorexia, now it is all about transgender” which I think indicates that she saw social contagion within her school.

I'm thinking about how we think of the Victorians as prudish but even they weren't squeamish about even mentioning the word 'girl'.
