If you want to talk about how to remove barriers and improve access to cycling for women you can register for a webinar here.
I cycle but I'm not in Scotland but this is run by women from a few different groups - my personal feeling is that there are women who cycle for sport (affected by transwomen who muscle in), women who cycle for personal leisure or to get places (may find it hard to participate if men are muscling in, especially if from groups that need a women's only group) and mums who cycle with their DCs either for leisure or commuting, who need support around unusual/child friendly setups, more support around traffic free paths etc. The "family cycling" movement is much more of a mum-heavy movement than most parts of cycling in general which are all MAMIL - see Invisible Women on women's journeys, and extrapolate to cycling.
