It's not about "alpha", it's about hate, isn't it?

I've been mulling over the horrific incident with those poor girls being kicked at and shoved under a train by those dispicable boys.

I was wondering why boys/ men do this. Initially I thought "it's a status thing", trying to cement their place as the toughest in the group. But it's not, is it? Because if I want to prove how strong I am, I wouldn't go over to the lightest dumbbells in the gym and fling them in the air. I'd go to the heaviest ones I could - possibly even the ones heavier than I'd ever lifted before, and I'd try to show off my strength by "overpowering" those weights.

I don't think anyone would be impressed if I was like "Wanna see me use this strength?" And then I pick up a tin of beans.

So why do these men go after women, children, or other men that they perceive to be weaker than themselves? It's actually an incredible display of weakness. With a huge helping of mysogyny, I think.

Does anyone have any insight into the psychology behind showing off by going after the weaker person?

It's the same thing as with all bullies they are cowards and usually are also very insecure about their own place in the world. It would be very sad, pitiful even if not for the harm that they cause not only to their victims but society as a whole

Disgusting little f&@kers - that video makes my heart skip a beat in shock.
It’s power and intimidation and these boys have learned it from somewhere and reinforced it in each other.
That poor girl - she will be in shock for a long time because of this. Absolutely terrifying.
As I keep on saying more and more often recently - what is wrong with these boys?
