The nterim CEO of the Fawcett Society has now blocked Fair Play for Women, despite the fact they've never interacted with her. You really couldn't make this stuff up. They are terrified of Maya and the light she's holding up to their cowardice.

I think it really sends a poor message, avoidance of pile ons or not. If you can't handle social media and the comments of the women you've set yourself up to speak for, maybe you're not suited to a pivotal role in a women's campaigning organisation. You can't expect to only ever interact with people who agree with you.

July 24, I don't know why but Felicia Willow's account is suspended.

That said, I find her speech to Labour Women was unnuanced and strikingly hypocritical given her self-aggrandising refusal to discuss matters with Maya Forstater and many other women:

We are a movement of feminists for equality. Our thousands of members won’t always agree on every single thing we do or say, and we may not always agreed with every one of them…we are here, every day, continuing to fight – not against other feminists – but against the patriarchy and to continue in Millicent’s footsteps
