His lawyers are claiming his constitutional rights were violated and he did not receive a fair trial.

Of course he is.

He's still a squillionairre. And has a right to appeal.

I do wonder why he was found guilty though. Most rich famous people are untouchable.

Anyway.

Zimmer frame came out before. This time? Who knows.

You would think he'd leave it after details of his deformed micro penis were made public.

If he fails and I hope he does, the only winners are the lawyers.

I have no issue with lawyers relieving him of some of his wealth

"Mr. Harvey Weinstein’s appellate court brief is a damning indictment of his criminal prosecution," Juda Engelmayer, Weinstein's chief spokesman, said in a lengthy statement. "A prosecution deeply influenced by intense and even magnified moral outrage over claimed sexual misbehavior of powerful men, special interest groups seeking to benefit off public fury, and sensational (often inaccurate or prejudiced) media coverage."

They make it sound like he was a sacrificial lamb to appease the #metoo movement.

They make it sound like he was a sacrificial lamb to appease the #metoo movement.

Of course they do. That is their job. But they do appear to have some valid points. I'm looking at this from afar but, on the information available, I struggle to understand why the judge did not dismiss juror 11 and why Weinstein's experts were prevented from giving evidence on subjects that were covered by the prosecution's expert. I'm not saying he is innocent and, even if he did not commit these crimes, he is clearly a repugnant individual, but he was entitled to a fair trial.
