Feminist foreign and defence policy.

Until recently I rented out several rooms to various lodgers, mainly young chaps who were generally in zero hour aimless sort of work. I'd always suggest a career in the Armed Forces to them but their responses surprised me.

One said he had watched a documentary about the new aircraft carrier where they had merely followed a few women around for the entire program. The only bloke he identified with in the program was... a bin emptier. He said they clearly didn't want people like him.

Another said he had considered joining the Army, but was put off by an advertising campaign which was looking for, "Snowflakes, cucks and weirdos".

Suffice to say their

So I had a flick through our new defence policy, the Integrated Review, and it seems to be an entirely feminist document. The Army has been cut in strength because they can't recruit enough people for their current strength.

I dimly remembered studying proto-feminist international relations theory many moons ago, though it seemed to be entirely focussed on using defence resources to promote femininst causes rather than explicitly having anything to do with defence.

And it seems to me that this has become the reality. Rather than asking the question of how do we defend our interests and shores, it instead seems to ask how can we use the defence budget to further our ideology at home and abroad. Foreign aid being a prime example.

So I wondered what the endgame is here?

Why would blokes defend an entirely feminist society where they are blamed for all the ills of the world?

I expect they wouldn't - why should they?

If not.... And it seems to be the trend...

Is it feminist theory that women are just as good in a bayonet charge?

Or more importantly are they going to want to do it?
