Does anyone else find it hard to believe that women are still having to deal with this - the response of this woman's 'employers' (AKA the Australian government was unbelievable')......

Why do I feel so annoyed when the Australian Prime Minister implies he requires his wife to suggest he thinks about this woman being his daughter in order for him to feel empathy? Is it because anyone who is not your family / daughter etc is fair game?

Scott Morrison's comments made me so angry. Why couldn't he look at this as a human being? He could only think about it from the view point of a father after his wife explained it to him. A journalist asked him about this at the presser and he just didn't get it. He's so out of touch! How is he our PM!?!

That it’s alleged to have taken place in the parliament building and she woke up to find the assault taking place in an office is shocking - it’s just so disappointing that she didn’t feel supported and that they didn’t seem interested in helping her persue it.

It’s not the greatest quote from Scotty but at least he is publicly backing her up.

It’s true he Is ‘backing her up’ - he cant really do anything less than this can he? But I wonder if he knew about this when it happened. His staff did as she told them and she was interviewed about it, in the room where it took place.

Strange there is so much secrecy about the position of a the alleged perpetrator
