Breast cancer affects more than 3,000 women and around 25 men each year in Ireland. It is more common in women over 50.
Ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women. Each year about 400 women are diagnosed with it in Ireland.
Prostate cancer
More than 3300 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year in Ireland. This means that 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
Penile cancer
Penile cancer is a rare type of cancer that occurs on the surface of the penis or in the penis. About 50 men are diagnosed with penile cancer in Ireland every year. It most commonly affects men over the age of 50.
