The Daily Mail article makes clear they are transgender though uses pronoun 'her' which is a bit of progress.

'Her lawyer Moira Macfarlane said the court had misgendered her client and she should have been remanded in a female prison.

Referring to court papers she said: ‘It says Mr Bregazzi but it’s actually Ms Bregazzi.

‘She is in Pentonville but really she should be in Bronzefield.’'

‘She is in Pentonville but really she should be in Bronzefield.’'

So "she" can have access to a ready supply of victims? Angry

well that would be a welcome change, as they say. I think the DM has generally been quite good about this though?

Let's hope FPFW's complaints to ipso have been heeded.

Mumsnut · 11/12/2020 19:21

I think this person needs psychiatric help rather than a prison. NOt in a female ward though

Angryresister · 11/12/2020 20:10

But this never happens..

NotTerfNorCis · 11/12/2020 21:57

People's sex is very important. 'Gender identity' is just that, an identity. I could identify as half my age but it wouldn't mean I was. What I'm getting at is, to give their audience the true picture, the press should be obliged to report a person's sex as well as their identity.

PotholeParadies · 11/12/2020 22:14

Every time the DM doesn't make it explicitly clear, there are loads of MRA comments saying "she would have gone down if she was a man".

DO NOT PUT MEN IN WOMENS PRISONS.

ANYWHERE.

IN ANY COUNTRY.

How fucking hard is that for people to agree with?

Is the lawyer a woman?

I assume with a name like Moira but you can’t know - so Moria has no concerns about this persons actions (did Moira make sure that there were some hefty guards alongside her when she worked with them?) is attacking random women without warning. Only women (and they can tell who is a woman then?). And this is her biggest concern, not getting this person off the streets and into a healthcare facility where they can’t attack women?

I'm glad this disturbed individual is going to be put away where he belongs. I remember when he pushed the policeman onto the tracks a couple of years ago.

Let's hope he gets the help he needs.

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 12/12/2020 08:40

Let’s hope women get the protection they need from this one. I remember the case when they pushed the police(woman?) onto the tracks. - can’t remember how they (ie their sex) were reported back then.

Missproportionate · 12/12/2020 14:02

Gosh I think I recognise this person. I have seen them many, many times driving through a certain neighbourhood in South London.

Always in the most extremely 'provocative' (I'm using that term as I really don't know what else to describe them as. Think of what a clichéd version of Hollywood prostitute desconstructed might look like) women's clothes. Sometimes incredibly dishevelled. Often looking confused and staggering. I often gave myself a bit of a talking to about it with my liberal lefty hat on, as who am I to say someone wearing that is not in their right mind - after all I defend my right to walk down the street in whatever I like safely. It leaves me very confused.

As does the whole thing really.
I certainly wouldn't want to be in prison next to them.

This person attacks men and women.

The solicitor's job is to argue for her client. It's other people's jobs to refuse the request.

Absolutely. A point often overlooked.
