"Inner London Crown Court heard Lush had 'drop-kicked' the teenager inside Leicester Square tube station with the subsequent assault filmed by 'laughing' members of the public.
The three transgender women can be seen in the footage stamping on Al Shaheeb as he lay on the floor."

'You are being punished for your overreaction to someone who has escaped punishment altogether.'

I don't understand this. Is he saying the guy that had his head kicked in escaped punishment? How have these awful people become the victims? He may have said some horrible things but I didn't get the impression he was any physical threat to them, they seem to have taken it there. So I can drop kick any Jan who makes an inappropriate comment to me and it's ok. Gonna be a busy day!

MRC20 · 07/12/2020 11:48

Jan- man

allmywhat · 07/12/2020 11:52

The Daily Mail are trolling again.

Whyistheteacold · 07/12/2020 11:55

And obviously these two idiots represent all transwomen because all transwomen are the same aren't they 🙄

nauticant · 07/12/2020 12:03

The issues in this case are whether the assault is accurately described in the media and whether it would be accurately recorded in Police statistics.

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 07/12/2020 12:08

@Whyistheteacold

And obviously these two idiots represent all transwomen because all transwomen are the same aren't they 🙄
The point us that 'transphobia' should bit be an excuse for three people attacking another violently.

Nowhere did I imply that these three represent all transwomen.

It'll be recorded as female violence I'm sure.

@Wrongsideofhistorymyarse

It'll be recorded as female violence I'm sure.
My dad rang me the night he saw it, saying that he was right to think women were getting more and more violent.
yourhairiswinterfire · 07/12/2020 12:48

It'll be recorded as female violence I'm sure.

Another way they're trying to discredit women. "What do you mean you're scared of the male sex class because they're more violent? Women are getting just as bad, look at the stats. You're just as likely to be attacked in your safe space by a woman'', etc.

Imnobody4 · 07/12/2020 13:11

'You are being punished for your overreaction to someone who has escaped punishment altogether.'
WTF. So presumably the Judge thinks the victim was guilty of a crime, should we turn hate incidents into crimes of provocation if the protected characteristic responds with violence now. I am so sick of this.

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 07/12/2020 18:35

I'd have thought being beaten by three other people was punishment enough FFS.

OP posts:
HecatesCatsInXmasHats · 07/12/2020 18:38

Maybe the judge would like to see public floggings for wrong speak as opposed to being 'drop kicked', which is getting off lightly or something?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 07/12/2020 18:40

What is astonishing about that is that the assailants quoted are properly contrite but the judge is more accepting of it than they are.

Unicant · 07/12/2020 18:43

Doesnt that quote about escaping punishment mean that the guy would have gotten legally punished if those trans women had just rung the police and reported him rather than assaulting him... and now its the grans women getting legally punished?

HecatesCatsInXmasHats · 07/12/2020 18:49

Strictly speaking, probably yes re meaning. What does the judge think he should be punished for? Saying that transwomen aren't women? The way in which he said it/tone? There's no doubt he was rude.

lydiamajora · 07/12/2020 18:56

Please tell me you corrected him, Acorn?

Kaliorphic · 07/12/2020 20:06

That video was very upsetting. There's never any excuse for such violence.

Al1langdownthecleghole · 07/12/2020 21:54

Had it not been for the victim in this case, there probably would have been no incident

From the judge,

FFS

I mean someone can’t have their Rolex nicked if they don’t own one but that doesn’t make them fair game.
