The turning tide

SNP internal party election for their NEC.

The women's convener Rhiannon Spear (supports GRA reform, patronises women in a head tilt way about being misinformed or misled by shadowy online bots) has been ousted from her role by the SNP Women's pledge organiser Caroline McAllister.

Just savour that for a while 😎

Alyn Smith MP (whose ex partner posted a private message online from Joanna Cherry to Smith asking him to 'have a word' with his (now ex) partner to stop the abuse & harassment she was being subjected to) has also lost his role as policy development convener.

While this is Scottish politics, and a bit niche in terms of internal NEC set up, this is quite a significant shift & a concrete representation of the unpopularity of what those 2 people represented.

So here's to turning tides 🥂

The Greens are a joke.
I've got Patrick Harvie as one of my MSPs...spends quite a bit of time sending out leaflets to constituents about how great he is which always makes me chuckle - how many trees did you kill to flatter your own ego, Patrick?
Utter fud.
