Also, and I hate that I even have to say this, I have no doubt that that dance routine will be stored on plenty of hard drives now for personal use. It could haunt the girls as they grow up and the reality of that 'fun film' they did as kids dawns on them 😔

Yes, by actually sexualising children. It could have been implied rather than shown. There are no excuses for those close up shots whilst children danced like strippers.
Someone compared it to being like a film raising awareness and trying to stamp out dog fighting and cruelty, by actually getting in dogs to film fighting to the death.
The aim was to raise awareness, but it did that by actively contributing to the sexualisation.
