Labour losing women

Is it possible to find out how many female members Labour has lost over the last couple of years?

I imagine their membership has fallen quite a bit overall what with one thing and another, but I wonder whether women have been more likely to go.

Personally I left some while ago. Told them I felt I had to since I think humans have two reproductive sexes and I understand that's incompatible with their inclusive ethos. No reply.

Nothing has improved since and I keep seeing women saying they've left.

(But kudos to the women staying to fight. I can't do anything active at the moment so felt like I was giving tacit approval to the female erasure and exclusion of fabulous feminists.)

Hi Catori.

Looks interesting, might be worth starting a new thread on that so it doesn't get missed.

@PronounssheRa Good idea :) Thank you. Have started a new thread titled Women's Rights and the Labour Party :)

Bumping in light of Corbyns suspension from the labour party. Last straw for any mumsnetters?

I'm in a bit of a quandary because I want to be part of Labour to do my bit to campaign against the Conservatives.

But on the other hand, their position on women and the general infighting and bickering make it hard.
