" ... Rights of Women are developing an exciting new project, working directly with women with personal experience of the issues we work on, to help shape our work so that ultimately more women can access the equality, safety, and justice they deserve.

We want to create a safe space where women feel able to express satisfaction and frustration with the current process, free from judgement and consequence. Our mission is to help women access justice, and insight into how this has and has not been achieved is vital to our work. ... "

Saw this a while ago and meant to post just in case anyone on FWR would be interested.

Sadly looking at their annual report & their E&I they do not appear to know the difference between sex & gender & are full on TWAW :/

Also does anyone else find that whenever a woman’s organisation or project comes up, they go see if they mean “women” or “women & men who say they women as well”?

hmmmmmmmmm ... that is more than sad.

But maybe a reason for getting involved because if they are funded to give out legal advice you would like to think they understand the EA!

So I've searched their web site and on one page it says:

"... As part of our Ascent project we have published two good practice briefings on the Equality Act 2010.

Download our good practice briefings and those of our Ascent partners here ... "

And I thought great, will have a read of them. But guess what the link doesn't work.

I get suspicious whenever I see the phrase ‘safe space’. The combination ‘woman’ and ‘safe space’ is particularly pernicious as it generally means ‘toxic space for women’.
