I’ve just had an ‘advert’ on my FB page regarding Jk Rowling’s new book (as Galbraith) suggesting it’s anti-trans. Or something of that ilk. It reminded me that I’ve been meaning to ask you learned ladies what feminist literature you’d recommend for my DDs (aged 11, 15 & 17) and to be honest myself please? Although I’ve always believed in women’s rights (how could I not), I admit I’m not ‘educated’. I have a knowledge gap. Big time! In feminism, equality & politics. I want my 3 daughters to be very very aware. Be more political than I. We obviously discuss things but as someone with little awareness or knowledge I realise my shortcomings. I’d be very grateful if you could highlight easy reads that would mobilise them. My 17 year old is all over it but the other 2 less so.
