'anti corset' become a 'corset'(rant)

sorry for bad english

in my country's feminist movement, 'anti corset'(no make up, short hair, no skirt...ect..)is big.(or was)

but at moment, it feels like 'become new corset' and lot of woman are uncomfortable with that and feminism.

it's like 'you don't have to makeup' to 'no, you shouldn't have makeup'.

'you have long hair, you are man follower, shame on you.'

'i have watched girl with dress, highheels, full makeup at class.
are you mad?'

and some people berate anti corset movement as 'not liberation, pretending a man'

so there's uncomfortable situation like
woman with short hair(in my country that was used to just hair and fashion, look sporty and boyish, cute) suddenly became a part of movement.
and between anti- corset movement and anti- anti- corset movement, we have to choose less option for life.

at this point, it's so tired.

Tedious, isn't it? How about everyone not judging women according to their appearance? Or at least, no differently than they would a man eg smartness or practicality in work contexts.

Expectations of appearances can go both ways, very easily. Whenever they come to be seen as not just a social expression but become politicised, people see the choices being made as part of making some sort of ideological claim.

It is tiring. Who wants to get dressed every morning thinking about what it says about their political and social ideology?

Thank God I'm invisible nowadays.

Ive read a little bit about the no corset movement.
I admire the women that have embraced it and been brave enough to buck such rigid aesthetic expectations, which seem to be much more invasive, expensive and time consuming than they are here in the uk.
I keep my hair shortish and don't dye, I'm going grey in my early 30s.
That was a big decision or series of decisions really, which is stupid because men don't think twice about it.
It does still feel like a statement in a way.
Really we just need to stop judging women for how they look.
The more we can move away from surgery, fillers, fake hair, skin damaging tans the better for me really.
I cant even say I dont judge women who buy into all of that because I do.
Not that i would discriminate against them at all.
We all make choices and they all have consequences, the difference is if you give a shit.
No corsets.
Dont do anything you dont want to, cant afford or are not comfortable with.
What's acceptable pain to one might be a step too far for another.

The hair thing confuses me the most I think.

My hair is long enough for a pony tail. I wash it, wait for it to dry, and put it in the pony tail.

I've had short hair a couple of times and I had to actually style it (I have disobedient hair). Long hair is the least effort for me (other hair types probably have different opinions), doesn't involve hairdressers, doesn't risk sunburned bonce, or require a woolly hat in winter. What's not to like.

I've never heard of this movement before, good luck with it OP.
