A useful article. It shows the Daily Mail are getting to grips with how to report this issue to their audience
It's an exceptionally well-written piece by any standards - a clear exposition of the whole case, very well-balanced and fair, and giving appropriate opportunities for the other side to respond.
I am a person who has become more left-wing as I've got older in many ways, and I dislike the Daily Mail for its propagandist and inflammatory stance on other issues. But on the TRA question, it's performing a really valuable public service.
As others have said, the Guardian is showing itself up as pathetic in comparison. Not least for the way it omits to report any of this and the way that comments are simply switched off on articles about this issue and any others where it knows its readers might disagree with its stance.
