Publisher's Weekly also delivered a "JK is transphobic" piece and are getting their arses handed to them in the comments and on their Facebook page. I may have outed myself there -- I wrote a strongly worded reply to a comment on FB. Couldn't help it. Not sorry.
It's about 90% JK supportive.

Ahh, I thought the WWWC was for writers only too. I sent an email on Friday. Haven't had a response.

One signatory - Matthew Yglesias, co-founder of liberal news analysis website Vox - was rebuked by colleague Emily VanDerWerff, a trans woman, who tweeted that Yglesias signing the letter "makes me feel less safe at Vox".

But VanDerWerff said she did not want Yglesias to be fired or apologise because it would only convince him he was being "martyred".
Clearly somebody was missing the point of the letter Grin

Publishers Weekly have now removed the comments under their piece with the following explanation

'Editors' note: Comments have been removed from this story due to transphobic content.'
