To those who describe themselves as 'gender-critical feminists' - along with them I decry the use of the expression TERF as a slur - and who oppose the modest work that the Tavistock is able to do given its budgetary constraints, I say: be careful what you wish for.

And my question is this; if those under 18 are not capable of consenting to taking puberty blockers, what does that mean for their ability to consent to having an abortion?
If he wins against the Tavistock will Paul, and the Christian Right, stop there? Really?

so now our access to abortion is being threatened if we dont comply to tra narrative? we are guilty by association? this guy is a piece of work, isnt he?

Mermoose but but suicidal ideation. Despite the fact that suicidal ideation including when it stems from tokophobia is not treated with sterilisation.

sorry to go on about him but his behaviour on twitter is appalling.

i saw him block virtually every women who argued with him- in one named tweet, the woman provided lots of info and he said i dont reply to annonymous accounts (it wasnt) and just blocked her.

hes made his thread full of people who agree with him- worse, one of the respondents, male, jolyon is taking apart for being anti-gay apparently, - as if the antigay guy represents us all - yet all those many many women who replied sensibly and clearly to him have been blocked and ignored.

this is proper crooked stuff and i cant understand why he's doing this.

At this point this is really looking like a serious personality flaw that the fox killer has that social media is amplifying and making more obvious to those who otherwise may not have noticed. He's just a thoroughly unpleasant human being.

he really is- and its fascinating and appalling at the same time.

he is desperately shaping his narrative but seems blithely unaware that there are hundreds of us watching him blocking, and ignoring alternative points of view.

its really disreputable i think.

We can’t expect reason from a man who bashed a fox to death with a base ball bat and then boasted about it on Twitter.

Anyone who thinks Keira doesn’t deserve redress for the terrible wrongs she has suffered is the sort of transphobe who does cause people to die. The basic argument is that it is so awful to be transgender and transgender people are so desperate that they should accept any old crap without complaining because other people are desperate enough to want the treatment she had because it is something.

I feel a sort of creeping horror at all of this. How is it that something which affected a tiny number of mostly male people, has become a movement powerful enough to restructure society, deny science and reality, and have so many acolytes ? What has really been the agenda, the removal of women’s rights ? The blurring of age boundaries and consent ? The normalising of “kink” ? There is serious money behind this, surely.

Kimono Killer must have a child in his family caught up in trans stuff, I have thought that for a while. He has been brainwashed by one of the orgs. He doesn’t seem to have much mental flexibility or to be able to grasp nuance. He is very black and white in his thinking. He certainly is an odd person.

I do feel quite generous towards people particularly caught up in this and being especially aggressive because it does include some very dear friends who are acting entirely out of character.

I think they feel transphobia is like homophobia; and I think they have a very contorted definition of the word transphobia, which seems to have a very high bar of accountability - 'agree with us completely, no debate, or you are transphobic' ....

Even with JK, the temperature of the trans rights debate is still pretty luke warm outside of a few communities and groups of people. There are a few very passionate trans activists, a few very passionate advocates for women's rights, a few misogynist bullies and some highly offensive transphobic people, but most people really are pretty apathetic and are happy to parrot whichever message is loudest and more trendy for a quiet life....

I get some grief, and some people are interested, butthe reaction I get most is disinterest; distracted by something else; subject change....

He's taken leave of his senses.

Just over 2 years ago, he donated 100 quid to Jennifer James's crowdfunder to "keep Labour's all-women shortlists female" - using words like "fair" and "women's rights. He promptly got flayed alive by TRAs for it.

But the about-turn is incredible - he's gone full-on TRA. Blocking all these women - it's something to behold. A complete disregard for women's voices.
