Not all feminists who question GRA are transphobes; my worry is that questioning is deemed transphobic
If I may (can anyone tell I'm quarantined and desperate for mental exercise yet?), she's started out there with a phrase we might miss the weight of. She's said 'Not all feminists'. The all there is doing a lot of work, because she's trying to signal that she is still a paid up member, she still believes that a feminist who questions the GRA is most likely a transphobe, but she is trying to give herself room to ask the questions that have been niggling at her.
And then she comes out with it - she is afraid of being called a witch transphobic for asking questions. For any thinking person, eventually, that realization that asking questions is sinful will either be a passport to freedom, or a stone in their shoe for life that will make them a very, very angry person and a harsh enforcer, as they try to squash their own misgivings.
I am very interested to see which way she jumps, and I hope it's to freedom.
