Last time he wrote about trans issues he was talking a lot about "being kind" if I remember it right. He has moved on a bit:

I especially liked how he highlighted the anti-feminist/misogynistic views of trans supporters. It was done in such a clear and matter-of-fact way. Thanks for the share token.

He does have a firm grasp on the issues. But has been silent for so long.

Alex Massie has one agenda = Nat bashing

Nothing has changed, he has just found another stick.

It's a good article and I hope many read it. But Alex Massie doesn't give a fuck

Good article apart from this :

The world is not so very interested in understanding trans people and cares little about accommodating them

Given that all women’s facilities, awards, spaces, sports have already been turned over entirely to TWs it seems the world is only too keen to accommodate them. Or at least for women to accommodate them.

The world is not so very interested in understanding trans people and cares little about accommodating them

Not sure what country he's living in... women in the UK can't move for initiatives and redesignating of their resources, forcibly, being scolded by agencies frantic to accommodate people born male at the cost of females, and constantly being exhorted on understanding, being kind, we're knee deep in it.

Except 'understand' and 'be kind' usually translates as 'females shut up and do exactly what you're told'.

Bloody hell, that quote...

So we should be grateful to some of those protesting against Professor Todd’s appearance at the Oxford conference for actually telling us what they believe. According to one of them (observing the exhortation to #BeKind, I won’t name them) “feminism is a methodology that we can use to make demands for our freedom” and “woman is an umbrella term under which we can gather to make those demands”. As such, being a woman is merely “a strategy for those of us on the underside of capital and other death-making machines” and “has no meaning to me absent of that function”.

Well if that's all the word 'woman' means to someone then can I kindly suggest they pick another one rather than appropriating it? (Underdog? Vassal? )
