I took a look at Surrey Police's Twitter feed to see their representation LGBT vs. other issues. This is those Tweets (also on their FB) exclusively relating to LGBT

29 Feb "Our rainbow flag has been flying with pride throughout February "
28 Feb "Yesterday our Diversity team were in Woking to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues "
11/13/19/20 Jul x 2/11/12/13/14/16/17/18/21 Aug LGBT Domestic Abuse
16 Aug LGBT Liaison Officer Maria
5 Aug LGBT Liaison Officer Emily
3 Aug Brighton (!?) Pride
29 July LGBT Liaison officers
25 Jun "Our rainbow flag is flying with pride this week (despite the lack of wind today!) to mark the end of Pride Month. "

VS.

Disability

April 4 Back in October, more than 1,000 of our officers completed training to help reduce the under-reporting of learning disability hate crime,

Black/Asian/Race/Racist/Racial

Zero.

Religious/Religion/Anti-semitic/Anti-semitism/Islam/Muslim

This weekend on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August, our Positive Action team will be present at the
@JalsaUK annual convention hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

June 5 Eid Mubarak to our Muslim communities across Surrey and around the world Crescent moon

Note that the vast majority of hate crimes are racist ones, per government statistics.

Surrey Police claim on their FB to represent all minority groups equally.

This is obviously a lie.

Note btw that the police therefore fly the Pride flag for at least two entire months of the year (LGBT History and Pride months), plus presumably more for e.g. Pride in Surrey

The diversity thing is absolutely bonkers.

To me, the word diversity, along with inclusion has mostly meant people with additional needs and disabilities.

I think I may have filled in some professional forms wrongly based on this in the past.

It now means something entirely different.
