Local police headquarters flying the trans flag

My local police HQ are flying the trans flag, along with the rainbow flag and others as part of LGBT history month. I really want to ask when they’re going to fly a flag for women’s rights and the end to violence against women but I’m not sure I have the energy for it on Twitter. It’s made me so annoyed though! What can I say to them? Is there even a flag to fly for women?

Exactly EmptyFieldOfFucks, I think all groups should be represented.

Why aren't they flying the asexual flag I want to know.
“The asexual pride flag consists of four horizontal stripes: black, grey, white, and purple from top to bottom. … The black stripe represents asexuality, the grey stripe representing the grey-area between sexual and asexual, the white stripe sexuality, and the purple stripe community.”

They’d be better off just putting up bunting. Easy to add more and more pointless flags as and when.

Also, it would liven up and prettify police stations, cars, whatever.

But I think it's important to fly it
Why?

I hadn't heard of the white ribbon either until I saw it on police cars and googled it, but yes, it seems to refer to a campaign to stop violence against women.

I drove past a fire station yesterday flying a huge rainbow flag (and no others). I wondered why only some groups are acknowledged in this way.

I wonder if police still tell women terrified of men's violence to 'wait until he socks you one' so you have proof. That was what I was told when I reported a neighbour's threats.

I've seen the trans flag a good few times and thought it was ironic that it was pink and blue, but apparently, it's very much on purpose.
From the flags designer:
The stripes at the top and bottom are light blue, the traditional color for baby boys. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional color for baby girls. The stripe in the middle is white, for those who are transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender.
Nothing but stereotypes in plain sight.
