I emailed my old MP several times. I am fairly sure she was closet GC but we have a new MP who I haven't contacted. I have emailed him this morning. He has made racist comments in the past and is fairly close to Boris Johnson - god only knows what his views will be on this.

There is another thread about the census. It is worth having a look. The bottom line? Write to your MP. This is supposed to be a majority Conservative govt. If they have been colonised by the lobby? It's imperative to write and clearly state the serious safe guarding issues and the threat to freedom of speech. They are interlinked. Silence is compliance in this environment.

Ten years ago, the idea that a Conservative govt would allow the bizarre linguistic dictates of a niche lobby to dominate and invalidate the results of an official census? Laughable. Yet here we are
