Emma Hilton Is Asking for Relevantly Qualified Signatories to Letter

However, now that I've seen a Professor of sexual and reproductive health tweet stuff about tables to explain her categorisation of sex as a social construct and re-tweet slurs about right-wing funding (source of her info: mimmymim) I doubt that there'll be relevant traction from the UK community.

Can I urge any natural scientists/medics who would be willing to work on a short letter regarding the reality of biological sex and put their real name, discipline and (former) institution as a signatory to get in touch please.
We need experts in the subjects of sex, development, genetics and related areas.
We need the biggest names possible.
We need the most names possible.
But mostly, we need scientists/medics willing to stand up and be counted.
An important note: We need people who are verifiable (academic pages, research sites, etc). We can’t take people’s words for it.

Trying to think of a parallel in my field:

"Calling all reputable historians. Please sign my letter reiterating that the historical record confirms the universality of linear chronology. World War I preceded World War II. The bombing of Dresden in 1945 was not a war crime under the Geneva Convention of 1948*. Etc.

(*I have heard someone argue this and refuse to back down.)

Calling all reputable historians.

That neatly captures just how unfathomably vast this divide is.

It looks like psychiatrist, Dave Curtis, is one of the signatories to the letter and worth a read:

Aside from my knowledge of human biology, my training and experience as a psychiatrist have given me a good understanding of the variety of human experience. I mostly worked with people who had psychotic illnesses or had severe personality disorders so I'm pretty familiar with the idea that people can believe some very bizarre things. I did work with some trans people and, when appropriate, facilitated them getting treatment. Also as a psychiatrist and as an NHS manager I gained experience of UK law, not only regarding mental health law but also equality and employment legislation.

With that in mind, here are a few things I want to say.
