I have serious concerns about the NHS Leadership Academy
While I very much agree with helping minorities to be represented in leadership positions, various “positive action” initiatives have resulted in people with connections to extremely serious cults gaining positions of influence in the NHS.
One example can be found in this PDF document (via the wayback machine) regarding Stepping Up, a positive action leadership programme for ethnic minorities from the NHS Leadership Academy
I am not familiar with the people featured in this document with the exception of a woman called Jackee Holder. Scroll down to see her profile.

Jackee Holder may be a very well meaning person with a genuine wish to help people, but unfortunately Jackee is a long time member and promoter of an extremely controversial religious movement called the Brahma Kumaris
I have never personally been involved with the Brahma Kumaris but know people who have been and also know people who have lost contact with much loved family members who have become involved with them.

I believe that feminists would do well to educate themselves about the Brahma Kumaris as they recruit women by claiming to be about female empowerment.
As for the NHS Leadership Academy and its various diversity related subsidiaries, they are of extreme concern to me because of the potential of astroturfing and creating leaders who may mean well but who encourage our NHS to be infiltrated by sinister / controversial spiritual networks.
To say that I have my hands full is an understatement. I would seriously encourage readers to research the various leaders promoted by this organisation. The leaders may well all be well meaning people but this is not the point. We need to protect our NHS from quackery and infiltration by cults.
