It’s The Guardian, but it’s actually a pretty fair article.

It is surprisingly fair (for the Guardian!) and highlights the way in which women are being abused for speaking out in opposition to the proposed changes to the gender recognition laws.

If the Guardian starts reporting even remotely fairly on this issue we really will have turned a corner.

Fuck me. A reasonable article in the Grauniad.

Puuuuullll!

Responding to the launch, Fiona Robertson, the SNP’s women’s and equalities convenor, said: “Members are free to set up interest groups on whatever they want. A feminist pledge is a great idea, and certainly one which official equalities representatives have been considering, seeing the success of the Out for Indy pledge in helping show the appetite for inclusion and equality in the SNP.

Fiona Robertson is no friend to women, so 'Any pledge would have to be concise, clear, inclusive and in line with law and party policy.” in her book would consist of women, NB's and anybody who says they are a woman. Shame she was given the last word.

I thought it was quite good they gave her the last word - it shows the kind of controlling behaviour the SNP women are up against, and what a grudging welcome the idea of a women's pledge gets. And well done those SNP women.

The SNP leader and first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, has previously stated she does not see “the greater recognition of transgender rights as a threat to me as a woman or to my feminism”.

Yeah? Well, that's great for you, Nicola, but it does not give you the right to concede the rights of the women you are supposed to represent and who do perceive a threat without even allowing them a say.

They voted in Rhiannon Spear for women’s officer. There could not be a worse sign. She is TRA central.

I hope the SNP continue to prioritise trans rights over those of women.
I hope they demonstrate, clearly and unequivocally, that they don’t give a shit for our rights, safety and dignity.
Once every female voter in Scotland realises this fact, the second independence referendum will be dead in the water.
And this unionist will be opening the champagne, along with my fellow campaigners!
