Long time lurker and fan peering round door.
Reading recent threads on toilet provision alongside trying to book a holiday(!), I’m struck by how common it is for companies in the hospitality industry to state that no single sex groups are allowed - presumably to avoid noisy pissed-up parties annoying other guests.
I wondered (a) how they can tell so easily, when eg single sex changing rooms are far too complicated to enforce; (b) how they’d react if an enterprising stag decided to claim a different gender identity and (c) if some of those with this policy are owned by groups whose other policies don’t match up.
Sorry, it’s early and the above possibly makes no sense
. It just seems like such an anomaly in these days, and while I wouldn’t want to see it go, I’m curious whether it’s oversight or intention that has seen it survive.
