Hello everyone - we've now undeleted the thread (as you can see!)
While we do wish to encourage civil discussion - and will still moderate with that in mind, we do accept that, in this circumstance, it's understandable that people will feel angry in response to this tasteless tweet. On reflection, taking the thread down was the wrong call and we're sorry to have upset so many of you.
