Perhaps Shon was a little tired and emotional. That may explain why this makes little sense and contradicts itself several times.

Exceedingly odd.

MrsWooster · 17/08/2019 17:41

“Another double vodka and kool aid for the person stabbing at their phone and slurring “that’ll tell ‘em” to themselves...”

Hopeful kindness? Wow would hate to see Shon being unkind. Tells Miranda to check his privilege whilst m**splaining Miranda's motives for holding the views they do.

TurboTeddy · 17/08/2019 17:44

MNHQ Miranda uses male pronouns, I have not misgendered.

Joisanofthedales · 17/08/2019 17:44

Well that was contradictory and very unpleasant. Full of threats and self pity.
I admire Miranda for his honesty and refusal to toe the TRA line.
I do not admire Shon.

TurboTeddy · 17/08/2019 17:46

It's from 2016 apparently.

SunsetBeetch · 17/08/2019 17:46

Miranda hasn't been on twitter for quite some time,as well...

I have a lot of time for Miranda and have met him on several occasions and he really does get it (please note Miranda is fine with male pronouns, Monitors) (not a quote, my mistake on the italics and not going to type it again)

Shon is the budgie pecking the mirror as a wittier MNer said.

donquixotedelamancha · 17/08/2019 18:15

I agree with Shon when she says that she is too pitiful for Miranda. How can someone claim to be a writer when they write like that?

OrchidInTheSun · 17/08/2019 18:35

Since Shon boycotted the Grauniad, gigs seem to be a bit thin on the ground - not seen a byline or even a mention for ages. Only from QX mag which is an online gay mag.

I wonder how the book's coming along? Judging by the writing in this exchange, it's going to need a lot of time in editorial

KatvonHostileExtremist · 17/08/2019 18:55

GinWineGinWine

I can almost hear the hiccups

OneEndedStick · 17/08/2019 19:03

Errm... Confused Is this what happens when Shon's got Charly for the weekend?

Whatsnewpussyhat · 17/08/2019 19:13

"so check your male privilege, hun"

Hahaha Haha.

MoobaaMoobaa · 17/08/2019 19:14

Grin It reads like something Darth Vader would say GrinGrinGrin

Sorry probably not appropriate.

But it was the first thing that sprung to mind, with the "we are winning" join me and together we can distroy the Galaxy........

TurboTeddy · 17/08/2019 19:36

Jackie Tran offers a wonderful response,

Do any of us really care what is said about our names in history books. Do we not realise that all of this will be obsolete because no-one is writing an actual book anyway.

What an odd point of view.

Weezol · 17/08/2019 20:04

'Hun'. Oh dear.

SunsetBeetch · 17/08/2019 20:27

Love that video Orchid

Shon's book must be due out soon. 7k advance, I believe.

That's nice.

SheWhoMustBeSilent · 17/08/2019 20:49

Ha ha! A gay male .. pontificating about women!

Yeah right! Credibility? Zero!

AnyFucker · 17/08/2019 20:51

Tl:dr

SunsetBeetch · 18/08/2019 10:06

More word salad brilliance from Shon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the recent Who do you think you are with Jack Whitehall and his Dad.

I also learnt of the welsh insult Dic Sion Dafyyd.

I think it is accurately applied to Shon. Grin

Women invariably get written out of history books. I did some work on women in the Easter Uprising in Dublin. Helena Maloney, who took part in it, said that asking about the women who participated was like asking about the red heads who took part. But with the passage of time, fewer and fewer women appeared in the books on the subject, until we ended up with just one.
