Lang reposting this post from you from the thread about Jayden
So, let me get this right.
A child who had been unpopular and bullied, who had Asperger's, was same sex oriented and was self-harming joined a school Pride club run by a transgender teacher and became persuaded that all their unhappiness was due to their "gender identity".
The Tavistock sent them a leaflet telling them to expect to be suicidal.
They got powerful drugs from an unlicensed clinic which addressed none of the underlying issues of a spectrum diagnosis, burgeoning sexuality, or self harm.
And the outcome was tragic.
And reminding everyone that Jaydens family are seeking a second inquest as they only found out the Webberely's clinic wasn't regulated properly after Jaydens death.
There are many safeguarding issues with the school here.
And I notice how carefully that article by the Sunday Times is written, which doesn't mention the details of Jayden's case and much about the situation at the school.
It almost reads as a deliberate omission as the article doesn't make as much sense without the full background to the case.
This is perhaps for editorial conciseness or because the intention of the article is merely to raise awareness of safe schools alliance. And because there is a sensitivity here.
I do find it strange that there is no mention of the desire for a second inquest at least though.
Maybe I'm reading too much here, but this distance makes me wonder if there is a legal reason why there's distancing going on here.
