Transgender Government Influence

From twitter:

Ever wondered why MPs take no action over concerns with Transgender policy and GRA issues?

Have you been wondering why the Crown Prosecution Service are now insisting that Transwomen defendants are called "She" in the courtroom regardless of the trauma that this may cause the victim of a serious sexual assault? Or why the UK Police now make intimidating personal phone calls to people who actively tweet on Transgender issues?

"a:gender" is the UK Government's own network of: "Transgender, Transsexual, Non-Binary, Gender Fluid, Genderqueer, Gender Variant, Cross-dresser, Genderless, Third gender or Bigender, and anyone who is Intersex. You do not have to be ‘out’ in the workplace to become a member. We maintain absolute discretion."

It also includes "Any member of the Civil Service who wishes to support the aims and objectives of the a:gender network"

This Transgender network's email address is particularly interesting:

[email protected]

(the Home Office being the government department that controls the Police).

Does this not signal conflict-of-interest?

The network's home page links directly to Mermaids, the controversial child sex-change support charity. The network states: "We liaise and attend internal meetings with Civil Service departments and external meetings on behalf of the Civil Service, such as with providers of support for Trans and Intersex people (e.g. GIRES, Stonewall, Mermaids)"

This Transgender network also performs an annual "Health Check" across Government departments. The Crown Prosecution Service (who decide who should be prosecuted, and for what) state:

"In 2017 the CPS was awarded first place in the a:gender health check."

I could say more, but I am sure that you can draw your own conclusions from the information, links and downloads available at agender.org.uk

Depressing.

I will never forget that David Davies asked to raise an urgent question at PMQ about proposed changes to the GRA and John Bercow wouldn’t allow the question.

There may be trans allies in high places but women make up over half the population & we will be heard. So much has sneaked through under the radar but thank goodness so many more people are fighting this insanity.

DpWm · 14/07/2019 14:12

My phone just gives a warning message if I try to click on the link in your OP. But yes I remember the thread on capture which I think sums it up.

arranbubonicplague · 14/07/2019 14:23

Oh my goodness, the cycles of history.

Wasn't a very notorious organisation revealed to have been effectively run out of the Home Office?

And that's an interesting association with Mermaids and all of the usual suspects that are the ones who are selected to give evidence at Select Committees etc.

Jellylegsni · 14/07/2019 14:44

I don't understand how they get away with mixing intersex and trans together

Jellylegsni · 14/07/2019 14:45

I mean they are very distinct categories..not one group

OldCrone · 14/07/2019 15:07

A couple of screenshots of definitions from the agender home page.

Gender consists of two related aspects; gender identity which is a persons internal perception and experience of their gender; gender expression which is the way that the person behaves and lives in society and interacts with others, based on their gender identity, to live in that gender role (male or female) recognised in society

What century are we living in?

Transgender includes transsexual people but is much wider to embrace a wide variety of gender expression including those who have no intention of permanently changing gender

Like 'Pips' Bunce then?

If only actual women and women's groups had this level of access to these institutions...oh wait , we are too busy fighting for our benefits and pensions and for our sex protected rights.

Imnobody4 · 14/07/2019 16:00

There should be a clear line between staff support groups and lobbying with regard to laws etc. This is starting to be just another manifestation of the freemasons. The potential for corruption is massive.

Regulatory capture writ large. And no MPs are in the slightest bit bothered as they're too busy getting the Stonewall bribes freebies and awards and gravy dinners.

TheCuriousMonkey · 14/07/2019 17:36

Meanwhile, across Government departments, what used to be called "Women's networks" or the like have been renamed "gender networks".

When I challenged the gender network for my own organisation as to why it had changed its name I was told, in terms, men experience discrimination too so it's unfair not to let them join in. They couldn't really cope with my challryng the to the word gender itself, claiming it means the same as sex.

Why the fuck the men can't start a men's network to challenge the few areas where men experience more discrimination than women (such as access to flexible working, part time working, and taking parental leave) I don't know.

I don't have first hand of the LGBT groups at work but my impression is that they are much more about the T than the L,G,B. Quell surprise.

I really support different protected characteristics having groups in the work place to protect their interests.

What concerns me is that it seems that the only interest being protected is genderism.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 14/07/2019 17:38

Firefox is flagging agender's website as potentially harmful.

PackingSoapAndWater · 14/07/2019 17:44

Ah, is this a clue to our "surprising" cabinet member in favour of the GRA?

I think it might be.

WootMoggie · 14/07/2019 18:55

Warning messages are a result of the link missing the https so this should be fine: https://agender.org.uk

OP posts:
WootMoggie · 14/07/2019 18:57

Oh... Correction. Apparently not - it's still problematic. Not sure what's going on as it was fine earlier.

Jellylegsni · 14/07/2019 18:59

You need to remove the s. Http:agender.org.uk should work fine.

Jellylegsni · 14/07/2019 19:00

And now my link doesn't work. Doh.
