A friend of mine wrote a polite, clear and evidenced letter to her MP expressing concern about the huge rise in young girls transitioning and quoting Tavistock whistleblowers. MP refused to send it to Penny Mordaunt because she doesn't agree with the concerns and doesn't want it to look as if she does.
This is anti-democratic - blocking the communication channel from a woman to the Minister for Women.
Is this normal MN women? I know lots of you are involved in politics - do eg Brexit supporting MPs refuse to pass on pro-EU correspondence and vice versa?
Why is it not possible to pass on correspondence with a covering letter saying 'I disagree with the contents, but here's a letter from a constituent and my job is to represent them'?
