Just saw this on Twitter, the first LGBT rep they are bigging up is Mumsnet favourite Travis Alabanza. Travis and the TopShop changing rooms were responsible for my first stages of peaking.

Hi! 👋🏻 It’s @MrDuncanJames and I’m taking over @PGUK to share myLGBTQ+cultural shapers to watch out for. First on the list? @travisalabanza for their ability to speak out on issues that affect the community. Travis has helped shape & create a national voice! #WeSeeEqual t.co/hpwT38XJpc

Will be interesting to see which other cultural shapers they select. Good ratio in the comments so far.

Mumsnet = pesky women. What with our dedication to women's rights, and children's safety. And our knowledge of biology.

HermioneWeasley · 26/06/2019 18:41

Hi Helen - have you been forced by a judge to give evidence and then told to stop waffling again recently. I enjoyed that so much.

This is what happens when you let Dr Who be a woman.

Aspley · 26/06/2019 20:10

Seems only fair that they do a feature on Magdalen Berns.
An influential lesbian feminist who has even caught the eye of JK Rowling 😂

I'd be more impressed if P&G supply children kept in Trumps camps with soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and sanitary protection. They manufacture all of those.

^This a thousand times.

P&G being Proctor and Gamble.

Sounds fun. Can we go back to the 80s and enjoy all those gender non-conforming men in pop having fun with make-up, satin shirts and braids and the women rockkng denim dungarees and DMs please? Simpler times.

The bigger question is whether Mimmy hates Helen? I find the way mothers of trans children, and I assume Mimmy is an adult by now, get so involved in their children's dysphoria quite strange.

Jackie Green is well into her 20s. By this point most parents get on with their own lives. Yet Susie marches on. And Helen is hovering over Twitter and MN ready to give her threepennyworth.

Dont these people have anything better to do. Why dont their kids step in and tell them to give it a rest.

Eaudear · 26/06/2019 20:59

It's kind of strange that Travis asked them to take it down, because they didn't want backlash today? Had Travis not been inforned they were going to feature in this?

Also Helen has asked Travis if she should delete her tweet (as it makes her look like a bit if a knob I guess) and Travis hasn't replied...

placemats · 26/06/2019 21:39

Travis can piss off.

“Mimmy” is around 13. I have no idea what testosterone does to a teenage girl’s body. I dread to think.

Needmoresleep · 26/06/2019 21:59

13...and a mum who is so committed to trans ideology.

How old was he/she when it all started? Mimmymum seems to have been around for ages.

HermioneWeasley · 26/06/2019 22:05

In 2014 they were firmly “oliver”, so before then, under 8.

Needmoresleep · 26/06/2019 22:14

Not a lot of scope then for a meeting of minds between Mimmymum and MNetters. I had not realised the child was so young. And now, presumably, without an 'open future'.

I wonder where P&G stand....

Hirsutefirs · 26/06/2019 22:23

This appeared on my FB. I wouldn’t say it’s going down well.

I thought Duncan James's video was rather good - youth homelessness is a good cause.

Of course, if they're criticising P&G for getting in on the rainbow woke advertising points, then they've got a point.

Incidentally, I used to be blocked by mimmymum on twitter - and now I'm not. So that's weird.
