Two things jumped out at me: one girl transistioning who said it started when her parents started pushing feminine things at her, wanting her to wear dresses etc. As a 'tomboy' when I was a child, if I had known about transgenderism and my parents had acted like that I might well have responded similarly - talk about a reinforcement of stereotypes.
The other, the head teacher when the interviewer put the point to her that these children might feel differently in 20 years time, responded by saying she was only concerned about the now. Well, she really has her kids' interests at heart doesn't she? (Sarcasm alert)
